Cancellation Notice, December 22:
Despite dedicated efforts to open the
Trail of Lights during and after today's rains, and non-stop park remediation
throughout the week, Texas weather has other plans for the Trail of Lights
tonight. After several inches of rain this week and throughout the afternoon,
the saturated park land is no longer absorbing water. Areas critical to the
Trailgoer’s experience are under water. Austin Parks and Recreation Department
has closed Zilker Park tonight, December 22, in an effort to preserve parkland
and protect the safety and comfort of the Austin community.
The Trail of Lights operations team
continues to remove standing water and remediate wet areas with mulch soggy
areas in order to open for a finale tomorrow night.
Event Ticketing and Parking Information
GATES (GA or ZIP) & SHUTTLE TICKETS
FROM DECEMBER 16th, 17th, 19th, or 22nd:
Gate tickets, and ALL previous shuttle
passes from December 16th, 17th, 19th, or 22nd may be used on Saturday,
December 23.
- Present your
tickets at the pedestrian gates, or at the shuttle locations. (link to
shuttles)
- NO FURTHER
ACTION IS NEEDED FOR GATE ENTRY OR SHUTTLES! Just show up. There is no
additional cost.
If you ALSO had pre-purchased
parking from December 16th, 17th, 19th, or 22nd - read below!
PARKING TICKETS FROM DECEMBER 16th, 17th,
19th, or 22nd:
If you do NOT wish to exchange your
parking pass to Saturday: Your parking ticket from December 16th, 17th, 19th, or 22nd may be used as a
shuttle ride to the event.
- There are 2
shuttle locations: located in downtown or south Austin (link).
- NO FURTHER
ACTION IS NEEDED! Just bring your parking ticket to use as your shuttle
pass.
General On-Site Parking tickets MUST
be exchanged in advance so we can ensure parking space on site. Exchange
requests are based on availability.
Please submit your Parking exchange
requests no later than 4pm tomorrow, December 23, to exchanges@austintrailoflights.org.
Ticketing agents are prioritizing emails
regarding parking exchanges.
Please send only one email with
your request to expedite processing.
PLATINUM TICKETS FROM DECEMBER 16th,
17th, 19th or 22nd:
Platinum tickets MUST be exchanged in
advance to ensure availability.

your Platinum exchange requests no later than 4 pm tomorrow, December 23
to exchanges@austintrailoflights.org
- Ticketing
agents are prioritizing responses to confirm exchanges. Please be patient
as ticketing agents are responding to thousands of inquiries. Your
requests will be answered as soon as possible.

NO REFUNDS. This ticket grants a revocable license to the
bearer and may be removed at any time for any reason. The resale or attempted
resale of this ticket at a price higher than that appearing heron is grounds
for seizure and cancellation without compensation. The holder assumes all risk
or danger incidental to the attraction whether occurring prior to, during, or
subsequent to, the attraction. Rain policy: Tickets for outdoor events
are purchased at risk of inclement weather. This ticket will not be refunded, but can be used for a future 2017 event date. Shipping and handling and service
charges are non-refundable, even if event cancels.
