Event Description

In the 52 years since the first Yule Log was lit, the Austin Trail of Lights has expanded to more than 40 displays, 2 million lights and holiday activities that create countless memories. Bring the family and enjoy this deeply cherished local tradition.

December 11th is Austin's favorite holiday event - with the third annual UT Night at the Trail of Lights. UT Night is a great way to celebrate the holiday season together with students, faculty, alumni, family, and friends! General Admission access is free and open to the public, and will include a variety of special programming by university groups showcasing school pride! Wear UT gear and show your school pride and support!  Hook 'em!

Avoid the lines and purchase a ZiP Fast Pass and receive priority event entry before the general public, along with other special amenities. 

Experience the Trail in luxury with a Platinum pass! Platinum offers early entry, valet parking, rides, refreshments, and more.

If you plan to drive to Trail of Lights and park at Zilker Park, you must purchase a parking pass in advance online. No parking will be sold on site.

Or avoid driving to Zilker Park all together and purchase a Shuttle pass from the Toney Burger Activity Center or Republic Square Park.  A shuttle pass will also allow expedited entry privileges via prepaid entry lanes at the main Trail of Lights pedestrian entrance.
